Warden Notice 34/03 (28 December 2003)

The Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) revised the Travel Advice for Saudi Arabia on 28 December. The detailed advice is available at www.fco.gov.uk/travel or on the Embassy's new website www.britishembassy.gov.uk/saudiarabia via the short cut menu.

We continue to believe terrorists are planning further attacks in Saudi Arabia and that these could be in the final stages of preparation.

People who choose to travel to, or remain in, Saudi Arabia should maintain the highest level of vigilance. You should take all necessary steps to protect your safety and ensure you have confidence in your individual security arrangements.

If we receive further information which affects the security of the community or the advice contained in this Notice, we shall tell you immediately.
