Warden Notice 28/03 (09 November 2003)

Terrorists attacked the Muhayya compound in western Riyadh on the night of 8/9 November. Casualty figures remain uncertain. We are aware of three British nationals resident there. None was seriously injured.

The terrorist threat across Saudi Arabia remains high. You should continue to maintain a high level of vigilance and to practise sensible security precautions.

It is still the case that we have no plans at present to close any British Embassy offices in the Kingdom.
