Warden Notice 25/03 (22 October 2003)

The Foreign & Commonwealth Office Travel Advice for Saudi Arabia has been amended to advise of the possibility of further demonstrations in the Kingdom, following that on 14 October, and of the need to follow local news and to avoid public gatherings which could lead to disorder.

There is information that demonstrations have been called for the afternoon of Thursday 23 October at a number of places around the Kingdom.

The Travel Advice continues to advise against all but essential travel to the Kingdom and to warn of the likelihood of further attacks against Western interests. The detailed advice is available at www.fco.gov.uk/travel or via the Embassy’s website www.ukm.org.sa and click on consular.
