Warden Notice 07/05 (10 August 2005)

The Foreign & Commonwealth Office Travel Advice was revised again today, 10 August, removing the reference to credible reports of terrorists being in the final stages of planning attacks.

The Travel Advice continues to warn of the high threat of terrorism in Saudi Arabia. We believe terrorists are planning further attacks. The threat includes, but is not limited to, residential attacks. There is also a risk of opportunistic attacks on Western targets.

The full Travel Advice is available at www.fco.gov.uk/travel or at the Embassy's web-site www.britishembassy.gov.uk/saudiarabia via the shortcut menu.

Both these websites can be personalised to alert you by email when there are changes to Travel Advice and when Wardens' Notices are added to the Embassy website - click "subscribe" on both websites' front pages and follow the instructions.

We shall pass you immediately any further information which might affect your security or the advice in this Notice.

William John Neil
HM Consul
