Warden Notice 05/05 (07 August 2005)

The Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) revised the Travel Advice for Saudi Arabia on 8 August to warn of credible reports that terrorists are in the final stages of planning attacks. The detailed advice is available at www.fco.gov.uk/travel   and select the country Saudi Arabia, or on the Embassy's website www.britishembassy.gov.uk/saudiarabia via the short cut menu.

In order to ensure our records are accurate, please ensure your Warden or the British Consulate in Jeddah have the most recent information of your and your family's whereabouts and contact details. It can make a big difference to the speed and effectiveness of our response on your behalf.

We shall pass you immediately any further information which might affect your security or the advice in this Notice.
